Position Purpose:
Responsible for supporting the sales growth by focusing on winning smaller customer and project business requests. This position will review daily generated customer leads and provide quotes to cover the requested services.
Primary Duties/responsibilities:
- Support the Sales team through pricing and preparation of quotes for new work with both existing and new customers.
- Research and develop potential new customers through selected target accounts and prospect listings.
- Qualify all incoming requests and manage all incoming web requests, route for appropriate follow-up as required
- Advise new customers about available services and solutions pertaining to generation, storage, transportation, and disposal of generated waste.
- Acquire service agreements and onboarding documents from customers.
- Record all customer leads and quotes in SalesForce and regularly create reports on progress.
- Other branch sales support at the direction of the Strategy & Growth Manager.
Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background:
- Demonstrable experience in customer service/ sales / quoting
- Experience of waste management and disposal, preferred.
- Preferred degree or equivalent experience in science, mathematics, or business
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Results focused mindset
- Strong customer relationship/ management skills
- Focus on meeting customers’ needs in a timely matter
- Highly organized and structured - able to follow a standard process
- Able to work collaboratively across different functions and help colleagues
- Comfortable with a role where client interactions are remote (phone, e mail, video)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work in an office setting
- Computer skills
Required Certification / Licenses / Training:
- Veolia training as required.
- High School Diploma.
