Job Description
Main Accountabilities
- Preparing and monitoring of maintenance budget and ensuring effective performance of all BVW assets within the budget.
• Develop and implement asset management procedures and tools (CMMS).
Detailed Job Description
- Management of preventive and corrective maintenance
- Recruit, train and develop personnel
- Control of the execution in due time of all maintenance tasks.
- Development of all asset management procedures and programs including safety requirements
- Define a long-term strategy to optimize the equipment maintenance and renewal costs
- Installation, configuration, setting-up and update of Veolia CMMS
- Analysis of maintenance incidents and improvement of the maintenance program and procedures accordingly.
- In charge of all plant modification or improvement
- Keep technical documentation up-to-date
- Identify and purchase the spare parts and strategic equipment
- Ensure that stocks of spare parts are strictly monitored and kept at optimum levels
- Develop maintenance budget and monitor them
- Prepare weekly, monthly and yearly reporting related to the maintenance activities
- Work closely with the Operation Manager due to potential interferences;
- Responsible for his personal safety and that of all personnel under his authority
- Understand and implement QHSE policy and ma ke sure it’s applied by its team
- He is involved in the development and review of the risk assessment and continual improvement
- Responsible for the respect of all procedures (QHSE and others) and rules by the personal
- under his authority including subcontractors
- Ensure that all mechanical and electrical work complies with relevant QHSE Procedures
- He plans ,informs and advises its team in terms of QHSE risk

- He is involved in the development and implementation of the prevention plan / work permit
- Work closely with the QHSE manager to integrate QHSE aspects in all the maintenance work.

Qualifications
Ability to
- Clear, concise oral and written communication to prepare and present reports to management, and the general public.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with operations staff, contractors
- and the client representative.
- Able to work after working hours including public holidays
- On call duty when required.
Is a plus the Knowledge of
- Beach well field
- Reverse osmosis process
- Gulf countries
Education
Master or Bachelor Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent professional qualification)
Experience
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
