Context

Veolia Middle East and Saudi Aramco agreed to form a partnership to establish a world-class Integrated Waste Management Facility that can efficiently, reliably, and economically treat waste for the drilling, refining, petrochemical, and other industries and for Saudi Aramco local communities. 

The Project called Oscar is located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia to primarily handle and process waste generated by Saudi Aramco’s operations in this area.

To reach this target, parties agreed to execute a Front End Engineering Design (FEED) in order to support the development of project.

Job Description

Main Accountabilities

Overseeing engineering aspects, reviewing and submitting civil documents, coordinating with vendors, managing interfaces, and ensuring compliance with client specifications. They lead the project engineering team, apply safety and quality procedures, and monitor progress and implementation of civil works.

Detailed Job Description

Technical

  • Oversee and coordinate all engineering aspects and CAD
  • Review all civil datasheets, lists and calculations
  • Review and submit all civil CAD drawings, vendor drawings and calculations
  • Keep track civil documents submission
  • Review and update the VDML (client format) or Document List (VWS format) with list of documents and its respective submission dates
  • Ensure all civil document are according to client's specifications
  • Assist Project Execution/Procurement departments to correspond with the vendors on technical aspects
  • Ensure all interfaces with other disciplines engineering and dept are properly executed
  • Liaise with the vendors and evaluate technical aspects of all quotes, and make recommendations,
  • For all outsourced design activities, to supervise and ensure designs done by contractors are of good quality and accurate as per the requirements
  • Manage Engineering Change Notice
  • Attend customers meetings together with project manager
  • Coordination of all civil works activities .
  • Management of Civil Works check compliance with local authorities.
  • Progress supervision, monitoring & reporting.
  • Monitor implementation, Quality procedures and Safety plan.

Qualifications

  • Master 1 or 2 in civil Engineering and design
  • 15 year(s) of experience in water treatment
  • 15 year(s) of experience in engineering
  • P&ID Knowledge (Level ) 2
  • Civil design calculation (Level ) 4
  • Civil knowledge (Level ) 4
  • Water treatment knowledge (Level ) 2
