Job Description


This is a home-based role. You will be required to travel within your region which is North America and LATAM.


You will be responsible for delivering the overall volume target specific to your region, whilst feeding back to ELGA HQ the sales, marketing, and product needs of the market and region. All activity, opportunities, win, loss, contacts, and so on will be logged into the ELGA CRM system.

Sales and marketing support and advice will be provided to the Distributor and Veolia network as needed. Support and interaction with the Key Managers assigned to your region for the Pharmaceutical and Clinical key account arenas is critical to the success of the role.


  • Assess the needs of each business unit and advise specific plans and actions to keep track of sales targets. 

  • Create and manage a sales pipeline of key account targets and opportunities to achieve individual set financial targets on a quarterly and annual basis.

  • Work closely with marketing and product management, developing growth targets and appropriate activities.

  • Be able to communicate on a multi-level basis and demonstrate high levels of influence both internally at ELGA and externally with your customers.

  • Prepare business proposals for internal review and draft sales plans & contracts as required and in cooperation with ELGA colleagues.

  • Take the lead in ensuring regular scheduled meetings with existing customers to review relationships and secure long-standing business.

  • Maintain good knowledge of competitor strategy and activity to identify new areas of business growth.


  • 5 GCSE Grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent including English, Maths, IT, and Science.

  • Sales, marketing, or business management experience.

  • Able to communicate on a multi-level basis and demonstrate high levels of influence both internally at ELGA and externally with your customers.

  • A successful proven track history of growth in business development and/or field-based sales within the selected markets and technical B2B environment is essential.

  • A target-oriented mindset to deliver to agreed sales plans and KPIs.

  • Persuasive, influential, and consultative approach when engaging internally with colleagues and externally with clients.

  • Adaptable and flexible in regards to modern business practices.

  • Technical competence and excellent problem-solving skills

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.

  • Experience in using CRM software or similar.

  • Business conscious and commercially astute.

  • Excellent literacy skills.
