Job Description

Main Duties & Responsibilities: 

The main responsibility of QA Coordinator is to support the QA process with the following responsibilities or with any specific QHSE task assigned by the QA Team Leader or QHSE Manager: 

  • Support the implementation & maintenance of Veolia QHSE Management System. Keep a backup of the management system’s controlled documented information. 
  • Support the QA team in QHSE management system migration to G-Suite. 
  • Maintain and update the statistics related to personal work & QA Objectives & KPIs status, and prepare relevant reports, charts, and dashboards. 
  • Prepare work plans, schedules, other reports, analysis sheets, presentations, & etc. when required by the QA Team Leader or QHSE Manager. 
  • Full working knowledge of document control and its techniques. 
  • When required, arrange and lead the meetings for QA related matters of other processes. 
  • Keep on updating the Controlled Documents Masterlist with the latest approved versions of documents & templates (update all details in the Masterlist including hyperlinks & QR codes). 
  • Receive & maintain a log of Document Change Requests (DCR’s). Coordinate with the concerned requester(s), relevant parties of that document (or those who will be affected by this change) and assist the QA team leader in initiating the changes. 
  • For any documented information under revision, help the concerned team(s) to prepare the initial draft, and/or preview/proofread the draft prepared. Once the initial draft is ready, help them with the approvals, final issuance & inclusion in the management system of Veolia with the help of QA Team Leader. 
  • Update the Organization Charts by coordinating with the concerned when a request is received. Post the latest version on the Controlled Documents Masterlist & Organization Charts public drive. 
  • Keep on organizing the google drives associated with the QHSE team & other shared drives under the responsibility of QHSE. 
  • Organize the internal audits as per Internal Audit Program & ensure the relevant communication with all concerned auditor(s), auditee(s) & concerned parties. Keep the record(s) of audit outcomes (NCRs, OFIs & OBSs) and follow up with all relevant parties to close them. Prepare the relevant statistical reports and dashboards etc. 
  • Arrange the 2nd party (supplier’s) audit (when required) with prior communication with the concerned parties. Update the Vendors Assessment Sheet (QHSE part only) based on the audit outcomes and prepare statistical reports and dashboards etc. 
  • Assist sales/ tenders & projects teams (or any process when required) in their QHSE related inquiries, bids, pre qualifications and assessments. Keep the QA Inquiries Log updated with hyperlinks to their records. 
  • Share innovative ideas to take the QHSE Management system to another level using digitalization as its foundation. 
  • Coordinate with the process owners on all poor customer feedback or the internal/ external complaints in order to find their root cause(s), and track the execution of identified corrective actions. 
  • Prepare the QA awareness & training material as advised by the QHSE Manager/ QA Lead. 
  • When required, assist the HSE Manager in some minor tasks related to HSE. 

Qualifications

Qualification & Experience Requirements: 
Formal/General Qualification: 

  • Graduation Certificate (Required) 
  • Any previous experience in QA, ISO Auditing, and etc. (Required) 
  • Experience: 
  • Two - Three Years experience in a similar role 
  • Technical Qualification: 
  • ISO 9001:2015 Auditor/Lead-Auditor Certificate (Required) 
  • ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015 (Plus point)
  • Root Cause Analysis Course (Plus point) 
  • Lean 6 Sigma Certification (Plus point)
  • Knowledge of HSE (Plus Point)

Other Requirements, Skills & Proficiencies 

  • Good written & verbal communication - English & Arabic (Required)
  • Good understanding of ISO standards, mainly ISO 9001:2015 (Required)
  • Good computer skills; Microsoft Office, Google Workspace (G-Suite) etc. (Required)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time (Required)
  • Ability to record, monitor & present the Statistical Data (Required) 
  • Ability to lead, initiate and work in a team (Required)
  • Problem Solving Techniques (Required)
  • Google Data Studio & Other similar digital tools, etc. (Plus Point) 
  • Basic understanding of Programming and other IT skills (Plus point) 
  • Root Cause Analysis Implementation (Plus point) 

Additional Information

QHSE Commitments

  • Ensure the applicable QHSE Policies and standards/requirements/procedures are being applied and maintained
  • Liaise with the internal or external interested parties during the QHSE audits/inspections
  • Ensure that all the work activities at site/plant/project are controlled with the help of QHSE procedures, risk assessment (or LMRA) & the valid work permit
  • Ensure the implementation of customer satisfaction requirements 
  • Ensure to report Incidents (near misses, unsafe conditions, unsafe actions & etc.)
  • Keep the documented information as evidence ensuring the compliance to QHSE Management System

Note:

The candidate needed shall be fresh or having a maximum of 2 years experience. It will be depending on the flow of activities, passion and skills that we decide to keep him/her working on QA issues only or include HSE activities also.
