Job Description
The Diversity Manager-Middle East will develop and implement the organisation's diversity initiatives and strategy to attract, hire, and maintain a diverse workplace in line with MFP and Veolia Purpose
Main task and responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following);
- Researches, develops, recommends, and executes creative strategies to foster the organisation’s diversity goals defined under MFP.
- Reviews current practices and policies, assessing and analyzing the extent to which they support or hinder the company's diversity goals.
- Collects and analyzes statistical data to evaluate the company's population in accordance with diversity standards and goals.
- Drafts and implements recruiting and hiring strategies to attract employees from diverse backgrounds.
- Develops and/or acquires training and development to aid diversity and retention initiatives.
- Provides guidance to supervisory and human resources staff in developing objective performance and other employee evaluations and policies.
- Acts as company liaison with government agencies concerning affirmative action and equal employment opportunities.
- Maintains knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.
- Provides training and policy updates to colleagues, ensuring legal compliance of management and human resources staff.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
QHSE Commitments
- Ensure the applicable QHSE Policies and standards/requirements/procedures are being applied and maintained
- Liaise with the internal or external interested parties during the QHSE audits/inspections
- Ensure that all the work activities at site/plant/project are controlled with the help of QHSE procedures, risk assessment
- Ensure the implementation of customer satisfaction requirements
- Ensure to report Incidents (near misses, unsafe conditions, unsafe actions & etc.)
- Keep the documented information as evidence ensuring the compliance to QHSE Management System

Comply with applicable ethics and legislation referred to in Veolia Code of Conduct policy, particularly in the fight against corruption and influence peddling.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the same role, preferably in a multinational firm
- Bachelor Degree HR Certification is preferred
- Fluent in English & Arabic language
Additional Information
Interaction & Collaborations:
- Directly interact with HQ Diversity Team and follow the corporate guidelines
- Collaborate with HR Managers & BL Directors in the ME-region
Location:
The candidate will be based in the Middle East (Egypt, Gulf/UAE, Saudi, Qatar, Lebanon or Turkey)
Preference will be for Veolia Staff having past experiance on working in diversity projects
