We are looking for a results-driven HR Business Partner to support people operations.
You will be responsible for supporting all key People initiatives, including policy development, core competency frameworks, rewards analysis. Our ideal candidate is an administrative expert and a people champion with experience in HR procedures.
Research and development on various people initiatives to propose solutions.
Integrate inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility in all of our programs and processes
Implement transparent career frameworks and career plans to enable our teams to have a clear vision on their growth at Chit Chats.
Champion Equal Pay for Equal work and other key rewards initiatives
Partner with the People team drive and build the best employee experience and scale our envious culture
Work with managers and leaders on all legal, compliance and employee relations matters
Collaborate with colleagues in the People & Culture team so that our foundational processes are delivered seamlessly and the employee experience is at the forefront of everything we do
Create regular reports and presentations on People metrics; analyze trends to help develop solutions, programs and policies.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements of day-to-day employee management to assist in the development of policy; works to reduce and prevent legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
Liaises with external partners such as insurance vendors and employment law experts and conducts research on new regulations, as required.
Recommend ways to streamline People processes both operationally and through the implementation of technology.
Providing coaching and mentorship to other People team members.
Other related People duties and projects, as assigned.
5 -7 years of experience in a relevant role.
BS in Human Resources or relevant field.
Experience with HRIS administration; experience with Humi or Zoho People an asset.
Proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
Thorough knowledge of Canada Labour Code and other federal employment law.
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
