Chit Chats is looking for a Junior Business Analyst to bring their analytical and organizational skill set to the Business Team.  Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Junior Business Analyst is responsible for the development of analyses of a broad range of logistics, financial and business activities and supporting the evaluation of operational improvements with data, review and improving of existing systems, and the exploration of business opportunities in the ever growing ecommerce space.   

 

Responsibilities to Team:

  • Generate and analyse reports

  • Help in the prioritization of opportunities based on business value

  • Provide analytical support in partnership explorations

  • Identifying and communicating business and technical requirements to stakeholders

  • Monitoring and auditing data
    Support in the creation of business cases and studies

  • Collaborating and brainstorming with the team in the exploration of business opportunities

  • Support project managers as needed to ensure successful project completion

Education and Experience:

  • Post secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work weekdays within core business hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PT

  • One (1) year of business analytics experience

  • Basic proficiency in creating SQL queries

  • Competency in spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel)

  • Competent in MS Office and Google Suite, databases and software platforms

  • Proactive and professional

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data

  • Proven ability to multitask and communicate and coordinate with teams

  • Flexibility and willingness to learn is essential given the broad breadth of activities of the business team

  • Great organizational ability and documentation skills

  • Technical writing ability a plus

  • Experience in e-commerce, shipping, and/or logistics a plus

  • This is a remote work opportunity with the requirement to attend meetings and training on-site

  • A working computer with the ability to generate and handle large reports is required for this role.
