Job Description

You will be responsible for developing and executing Chit Chats’ logistics and distribution in line with Chit Chats’ strategy to deliver low-cost, transparent, reliable, fast delivery.

You will report to the President and manage several direct reports including Logistic Operation Manager.

You will oversee all logistics, warehousing, distribution, fleet, and order fulfillment teams across Canada with main hubs in Burlington, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal in support of strategic and annual growth plans. You will be responsible for employee performance and retention, key performance indicators, and operational budget. 


What you bring:

  • 10 plus years’ of progressive experience in a senior-level position in Logistics, Distribution, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Undergraduate Degree or training/certification in Logistics, Distribution, Supply chain or another related area is an asset or equivalent experience. 

  • Key experience in the following categories: operational excellence, customer service leadership, leadership of diverse personnel. 

  • Previous experience and/or knowledge in applying process improvement methodology to a warehouse and logistics environment (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is an asset.

  • A proven ability to increase operational efficiency, reduce cost and enhance customer service.
