Job Description
As a Business Development Representative at Vention…
You’ll be the first point of contact for new prospects, driving conversations and building relationships to help them discover how Vention’s automation platform fits their needs. With an energetic, curious mindset, you’ll learn the craft of sales in a dynamic technology environment and play an essential role in generating pipeline and bookings for the team.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll source new revenue opportunities by engaging inbound leads and outbound prospects, educating them about Vention’s productized applications.
- You’ll conduct high-volume prospecting (calls and emails) to qualify leads, navigate gatekeepers, and secure meetings with senior sales experts.
- You’ll map prospects’ challenges to Vention solutions and work closely with account executives and marketing to implement strategy and processes.
- You’ll become an industry expert and develop mastery over Vention’s products and value proposition.
- You’ll consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation and booking targets.
- You’ll proactively report on metrics, performance, and results, and look for ways to improve outcomes alongside Sales and Marketing leadership.

You’ll bring:
- 2+ years of business development experience, ideally with technical products (software or hardware).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- A proven record of high achievement.
- Intellectual agility and natural curiosity.
- Superb communication skills (written and verbal).
- High energy, self-motivation, and a strong sense of urgency.
- Attention to detail and an organized, metrics-driven mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and fun technology environment.
- A curiosity to learn, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to contribute to something meaningful
