Job Description
Our Inside Sales Account Managers are part of the Key Account Management team, supported by Enterprise Account Managers, Application Engineers, and Sales Leadership.
- Source new revenue opportunities by educating our inbound leads and existing users about Ventions offering
- Inform new inbound leads about Vention’s history within the existing Key Accounts
- Inform new and existing users about marketing events and drive user attendance
- Work both inbound, existing users and outbound leads to target Key Accounts including opportunities discovery, pipeline building and quota achievement;
- Build skills as you become an expert in discovery calls, sales process, qualification methodology, product demonstrations, negotiations and closing;
- Conduct high volume prospecting primarily within the existing users of key accounts
- Qualify prospects' needs and challenges, and effectively map them to Ventions offerings
- Set up highly qualified meetings with senior sales experts with the goal of running introductory meetings, demos
- Work closely with Senior KAM and marketing to implement strategy and process
- Become an industry expert and develop product mastery
- Consistently meet (and exceed!) monthly and quarterly booking and pipeline generation targets
- Conduct yourself professionally and cast Vention in a positive light
- Build long term and strong relationships with clients
- Report on a weekly basis your metrics, performance and results - to who? I think sales ops will report on it.
- Proactively look for ways to improve results and liaise with sales and marketing leadership to action those.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop new strategies to grow the sales pipeline and consistently meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
Qualifications
- You bring 1-2 years of experience in commercial / technical sales
- You ideally have a technical background - with a preferred degree in engineering or related technical degree
- You have excellent organizational skills and are detail oriented
- You have excellent communication skills in English, are an active listener and ask intelligent, well thought out questions;
- You are at ease speaking with and presenting to clients and love picking up the phone!
- You have a passion for customer success and the ability to listen and detect client needs;
- You showed the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high energy and enthusiasm
- You have a deep interest in engineering topics and have a genuine curiosity to explore how things work;
- Experience with any sales tools such as : Gong, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, Salesforce, Seismic, is considered an asset.
