Job Description

The position of the Channel Marketing Manager- EMEA is based in Berlin, Germany and reports to the Vice-president, Brand and Product Marketing. This position is highly strategic in our ongoing expansion in Europe. This role demands high cultural sensitivity and a strong awareness of marketing, messaging and branding, and event and public relations best practices. The role will be aligned with Vention's marketing strategy and will be important in supporting the expansion of our Vention Automation Partner (VAP) program. 

This position is mainly responsible for ensuring the marketing support of the team with content creation, coordination and execution of targeted campaigns, event coordination, and minor public relations coordination.

More specifically, you will:

Channel Marketing 

  • Collaborate on the evaluation and improvement of current channel marketing strategies.
  • Participate in developing new marketing channel (partners) strategies and implementing marketing plans.
  • Gathering marketing campaign data, evaluating the impact of strategies, and reporting the results.
  • Keep track of trends and competitor behavior to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Build a deep understanding of products, challenges, priorities, opportunities, go-to-market approach, etc., to impact regional partnerships.
  • Identifying and executing on opportunities to create key co-branded assets (content, messaging, microsites, multimedia, joint solutions etc.) to drive partnership awareness.
  • Building and owning a Partner Advisory Council

Event and public relations 

  • Executing media communication strategies and influencer programs (when required) aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Recommend and execute on opportunities to create key co-branded assets (content, messaging, microsites, multimedia, etc.) to drive partnership awareness.
  • Participate in the management of the German-based PR agency.
  • Organizing and promoting product launches, trade shows, conferences, and community engagement activities.
  • Support in identifying and executing on opportunities for the organization's key executives or spokespersons to share their expertise through speaking engagements, guest articles, and interviews.
  • Run small-scale events at the Berlin office and, in some occasions, outside the office to support the local team and our partners. 

Social Media 

  • Collaborating with the marketing team to shape a social media strategy congruent with overarching marketing objectives, including audience identification and content personalization.
  • Participate in creating a diverse content calendar specific to EMEA, encompassing promotional, educational, and user-generated posts, support the creation of visually captivating content, and curate brand-aligned material from external sources.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to social media comments, messages, and mentions, actively engaging with followers to address inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
  • Review the content in German from the translation agency.
  • Remaining up to date with industry trends, news, and popular topics, engaging in pertinent conversations and leveraging trending hashtags to enhance engagement and visibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills in German (C1), English (full proficiency) and another European language could be considered an asset (French, Dutch, Italian, etc).
  • 4-6 years of marketing, communications, and management experience in an industrial, robotics, and automation environment. 
  • 2+ years working with channel partner programs
  • Experience in coordinating events and journalists' management. 
  • Strong organizational skills and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Can work independently with a team outside of the office.
