In May 2022, with 300 employees (and growing) in Montreal, Boston & Berlin, Vention announced the closing of US$95M in Series C financing which will will be used to grow Vention's go-to-market strategy, expand the company's global distribution footprint, and accelerate the development of its hardware and software platform. 

We are looking for a Shipping Associate to join our operation team. As a key member to our Operations team, and under the logistics manager supervision you will be responsible for Vention’s daily shipping operations and will participate in improving the shipping process to support company growth.

More specifically, you will:

• Process shipment, creating labels, Organizing pickup with carrier and produce shipping document ( Invoice, BOL, CERS etc)
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies or lack of information to process shipments
• Update internal system with shipping information and ensure accuracy in all information inputted
• Prioritize shipment in order to respect carriers cut off
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Vention's warehouse processes and tools
• Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and ensure safety protocols as followed at all times

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Experience with UPS and Fedex shipping system an asset
• High school diploma or equivalent in operations or logistics field an asset
• Data entry experience or related office experience
• Proactive problem solver, capable of identifying issues and generating solutions
• Attention to detail in the context of customer satisfaction
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
• Forklift certification, an asset
• Availability to work from 9:30am until 6pm, Monday to Friday
