As a Payroll Specialist, you will be reporting to the Finance Manager, and will be responsible for administering payroll for our hourly and salaried employees. The Payroll Specialist will be primarily responsible for ensuring high quality and efficient payroll administration, including:

• Process payroll for all salaried and hourly employees, including commission, bonus, and other special payments

• Ensure accurate processing of sick pay, benefits, and vacation payouts

• Maintain employee profiles and payroll reports and ensure that they are up-to-date

• Answer payroll-related questions from managers and employees

• Ensure all banking information for each employee is correctly entered into the system

• Troubleshoot payroll issues and solve them on a timely manner

• Additional accounting cycle responsibilities (collections, AR, AP) 

• 2+ years of payroll experience

• Experience working with ADP or other relevant payroll software

• Experience with US payroll; European (German) payroll a strong asset

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
