Job Description

As part of Vention's Operations team, reporting to the Manager, Global Inventory, the Supply Chain Analyst will use analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance our supply chain processes. You will be responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations that support SCM planning and operations in a fast-growth environment to support our OTIF target.

More specifically, you will:

  • Maintain Inventory integrity and master data creation
  • Track and manage adherence to key KPI, root cause failure, driving counter measure actions
  • Provide robust analysis and input to S&OP
  • Support ordering plan and ensure delivery schedule is up to date with our suppliers to meet our replenishment needs; update MRP system accordingly
  • Manage and monitor all stock movements, including warehouse transfers
  • Work closely with a dedicated team of software developers, improving inventory planning software and underlying algorithms
  • Creates visibility to inventory through dashboard creation 
  • Escalating critical supply and demand deficiencies to key stakeholders
  • Help foster trusting relationships with business partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Business Management, Logistics or a related field 
  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of inventory level mathematics, including daily demand, safety stock, reorder points and economic order quantity
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI
  • Prior expertise in writing SQL queries
  • Problem-solving aptitude and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Familiar with logistics and production planning concepts
  • Understand contracts and pricing
  • Strong data analytic background with business acumen in order to have the ability to run complex analysis independently of the data science team
  • Problem-solving skills
  • APICS or SCMP certification an asset
