Job Description

We are looking for a creative and driven Marketing and Communications Associate to implement and support marketing initiatives at Vention. This role will report directly to the CMO of Vention. The Associate will work on a variety of projects across brand, communications, product marketing and demand generation within the marketing team. More specifically, they will:

  • Provide cross functional support across all marketing functions including Demand Generation, Product Marketing and Brand Marketing and Go to Market 

  • Support the development and implementation of the company’s sales enablement content including battlecards, scripting and product-specific sales collateral

  • Partner with Brand and Product Marketing teams to develop earned media content including public relations pitch materials, press kits, and press release materials 

  • Act as primary liaison between technical, product, sales and marketing teams to identify internal communications gaps, and coordinate production and correct distribution to relevant audiences

  • Prepare marketing activity reports, presentation materials and metrics for measuring program success

  • Complete market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends

  • Support the execution of all production for events and content for trade shows, field marketing events, demo days and analyst events

  • Work closely with HR, ExCo and Marketing teams to develop and deploy company-brand strategy, platform and related materials and content 

  • Further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices, and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in marketing/communications or related (essential)

  • Two years of experience in content management, creative writing, marketing, communications or sales enablement

  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior

  • Basic knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS)

  • Ability to take complex technical concepts and create broadly accessible content that breaks down communication barriers

  • Impeccable organizational skills, detail oriented and self-directed work style

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

  • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop and web editing packages
