Job Description

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, as part of the Operations Team, your role will be to manufacture electromechanical & electronic components and conduct quality assurance tasks. You will join a highly technical group that will mentor you to grow your abilities to manufacture and test multiple automation components.

 

More specifically:

-       Perform the assembly, software installation and testing of Vention automation components: MachineMotion Controller, Module, Sensors, and Motors.

-       Replenish parts in production line and coordinate missing parts with procurement.

-       Build harnesses and cable assemblies following schematics as per IPC/WHMA-A-620.

-       Perform assembly and reworks of printed circuit boards as per IPC/WHMA-A-610.

-       Contribute to the improvement of the automation components and documentation by improving cost, performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

-       Ensure that the manufacturing area is well organized and effective. Provide ideas and suggestions to increase efficiency and improve practices.

-       Collaborate with the operations team to ensure fulfillment success.

Qualifications

-       Electronic Technician Diploma or Certificate of vocational studies in electronics

-       Minimum 1 years’ experience electrical cabinets and wiring sub-systems in a production environment

-       Ability to interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings and production documents

-       Experience of soldering methods for wiring and printed circuit boards.

-       Knowledge of Harness assembly as per IPC/WHMA-A-620 and electronics circuit board assembly as per IPC/WHMA-A-610.

-       Experience in Quality Assurance is an asset
