Job Description

Vention is scaling its business across Europe, and we are seeking an ambitious Channel Sales Manager. The Channel Sales Manager - EMEA will be tasked with expanding Vention’s Certified System Integrator network and driving revenue growth through our new and existing European integrator partners. This role will report to the Head of Integrator Network and work closely with the EMEA sales team. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to be an evangelist for Vention from the outset of our overseas expansion. There will be ample autonomy in this position to build a channel sales network from the ground up! 

What You'll be Doing: 

  • You drive continued sales and manage partnership with 12 existing Certified System Integrators (in conjunction with our Inside Sales Account Executive Team)

  • You grow value-added CSI sales network (identify, sign and onboard new partners)

  • Primary focus regions include Germany, UK,  France, Benelux, Italy and Iberia

  • You conduct regular CSI partner visits to ensure mind share, focus and proper reporting

  • You organize quarterly business reviews, goal-setting and corrective action with CSI partners 

  • You  identify appropriate integration partners from CSI network for Vention-led projects

  • You maintain an accurate CRM forecast for forthcoming CSI projects

  • You work hand in-hand with the Head of CSI

  • You have the  ability to travel 50% of the time (Berlin offices, Montreal HQ, partner sites across EMEA)

Qualifications

  • You bring 10+ years industry experience serving the manufacturing sector

  • You have Ideally worked in a channel management role or in a direct sales/key account role which included channel sales experience

  • You have a degree in business, economics or engineering

  • You bring knowledge of German industrial automation space (Robotics, PLC, manufacturing, etc)

  • You have past relationships with German system integrators (either through partnership or supply)

  • You have strong presentation and negotiation skills (English and German)

  • You are a self-starter with ability to stay on task while working remotely

  • You are based in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, North Rhine-Westphalia or Hesse
