Job Description

As Vention’ VP of People & Talent, you will be part of the senior leadership team of one of the fastest-growing industrial and robotics start-ups. You will be responsible for everything related to Vention’s human resources and culture practices. You will provide expertise and support in Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, Policy and Procedure Development, HR Compliance and any other relevant topics and ad hoc projects. More specifically you will:         

  • Further develop Vention talent acquisition strategy, support to our TA team working through best practices in planning for global hyper growth
  • Work closely with CEO & CFO to source and hire all senior leadership team members
  • Refine Vention’s career planning and people growth playbook and build career path program (e.g., management track, expert track, and rotational tracks)
  • Build a best-in-class learning and development program supporting our diverse teams and functions (e.g., Devs, automation, hardware, Sales, Operations, finance HR)
  • Own Vention total rewards and compensation structure, perform regular benchmarking and ensure competitiveness in a particularly competitive environment
  • Be Vention’s culture and DE&I champion and ensure that the company continues to be at the forefront of diversity and inclusiveness
  • Assist the senior executive team in organizational design and define scalable team structure to support business objectives
  • Ensure Vention’s compliance with employment law and legislation in the various jurisdictions we operate

Qualifications

  • CHRO certified
  • 7+ years of experience in a senior HR role
  • Experienced with all key functional areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, training and development and total rewards
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to define, pursue and prioritize various high impact business objectives
  • Experience in scaling organizations and implementing structure and alignment across offices
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment and capable of balancing the needs of the business and the needs of the people
  • Proven ability to build and execute on strong culture driving and impactful people programs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with exceptional communication skills, able to clearly and simply articulate complex ideas to a variety of audiences
  • Must be a collaborative team player, possess a strong customer service orientation, and be a consultative problem solver
