The Social Media and Content Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to help achieve our client’s digital marketing goals. Responsibilities will include managing social media accounts (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest), composing blog posts, networking with other bloggers, reporting data, and other related functions.


Job Description

Oversee the daily content on digital media platforms including, but not limited to, blogs, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, and YouTube.

Manage scheduling, posting, creative asset development, and all other aspects of running a lively content marketing program.

Assist in the management of day-to-day content strategy activities, including editorial calendar planning, pitching and drafting compelling content, market research, promotions, contests, and relationship management.

Monitor social media influencers, trends, applications, tools, emerging platforms, etc., and make recommendations that are a good fit for our clients and support marketing initiatives.


Qualifications

BA or BS in Marketing/English/PR/Communications or similar discipline preferred.

Track record of executing day-to-day corporate social media programs is desired

Strong knowledge of social media best practices and metrics is desired

Superior writing and editing skills with a proven ability to create unique and compelling copy.

Passionate and driven. A demonstrated willingness to roll-up sleeves and do what it takes to drive initiatives to succeed.

Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced environment

PLEASE NOTE:

Preference will be given to local candidates. Be prepared with samples of your experience in social media either academic, or professional - not personal. This is a virtual based position that will begin contract and move to full time for the right dedicated person.  

AGAIN - This is 1099 contract at 10 hours a week to full time.
