Job Purpose:

The PBX-Change Senior Hosted PBX Sales Consultant will be responsible to self-initiate prospects, present service solutions, and sell complex products and services. We provide our customers a myriad of solutions including voice, data and cloud products and services that is solution driven and not price driven.


Job Description

Job Duties: 

Core duties and responsibilities include the following below. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Self-initiate contact with prospective clients for Hosted PBX services.
  • Meet and discuss the Hosted PBX services with the customer by understanding their current business uses and identify areas where services can be improved.
  • Develop a service solution quote that meets the needs of the customer’s environment.
  • Present the service solution quote to the customer explaining our services and solution proposal.
  • Follow through with the customer until the quote is signed to initiate new services and gather required customer information details to initiation new account creation by the Orders Team.
  • Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities and showcasing new products. Constant contact with existing clients is critical.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations, social media marketing opportunities.
  • Achieves sales objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans. Utilizing CRM for account management.
  • Meets marketing and sales quotas set by management by cold calling, attending networking events, training classes, and by engaging customers. All daily activity is logged into customer database including site visits, phone calls, etc., for future automated and personal solicitations and updates.

Qualifications

Education / Previous Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an outside sales and cold calling – preferably in a technology associated industry.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in telecommunications B2B sales experience, preferably in unified communications, VOIP, Hosted-PBX.
  • Experience selling a broad range of telecom business-focused services including comprehensive, VoIP/Hosted PBX, TDM & SIP voice, data, data center, cloud, business continuity, internet, and MPLS services preferred
  • Demonstrated outside sales success is required.
  • Must have a passion for Hosted PBX, SIP trunking, and other emerging telecommunications technologies.
  • Must have knowledge of technical trends, and how businesses utilize technology to increase efficiencies.
  • Prospect must have an above-average knowledge of all things computer-related, and, above all else must have an innate knack for technical learning.
