GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrates a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards and reflects the values of Velaa Private Island.
• Manage and maintain organization’s servers, workstations, laptops, and hardware to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot operating systems, software applications, and utility programs across the organization.
• Monitor and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, to ensure secure and uninterrupted connectivity.
• Administer the backup solutions and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and minimize operational disruptions.
• Provide prompt technical support to end-users, troubleshooting technical issues and resolving problems efficiently.
• Be available to respond to urgent system issues and support needs, including working outside normal hours if required.
• Stay current with emerging IT trends, security threats, and best practices to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5-star luxury resort.
• Deep knowledge of computers: Hardware, Software, Data Base, and Networking.
• Well experienced in systems design, analysis, project implementation, central reservation system, back- office modules, and interfaces.
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Result-oriented with high self-drive and commitment
