Job Description
- Oversee daily operations of the resort bar, ensuring seamless service, effective inventory management, and optimized staff scheduling.
- Demonstrates a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards awareness.
- Organizes and plans the Food & Beverage events in accordance with guidelines from F&B Management.
- Lead, train, and inspire bar team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Collaborate closely with chefs and F&B leaders to curate and update seasonal beverage menus.
- Manage bar budgets effectively, overseeing stock control and implementing cost-efficient practices.
- Proactively address guest concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship to the team in service excellence and product knowledge, leading by example at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role at a high-end five-star luxury hotel/resort along with Certification in hospitality or bar management is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of bar terminology, standard recipes, and garnishing techniques.
- Strong understanding of wines, spirits, and mixology.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills & confident to anticipate the needs of the Department.
- Possess outstanding guest service skills striving to exceed guests' expectations.
- Experience in Leading Quality Assurance and Forbes Travel Guide standards will be an advantage.
- Pleasant personality with excellent grooming and self presentation.
- Proficient in POS systems and inventory management software.
