Job Description

  • Responsible for the daily sales, revenue, occupancy and overall positioning of Velaa Private Island and the development of customer and partner relationships for the property.
  • Identify new opportunities, analyse market trends and sales data to make informed decisions and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Represent Velaa Private Island to partners and during tradeshows, conferences and events.
  • Establish close relationships with key partners within the European market.
  • Plan and execute regular sales calls as well as organise events, trainings and webinars.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure that the sales functions and the Velaa values are carried out smoothly and commitments are met.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior sales position at a 5-star ultra-luxury hotel/resort. Maldives experience would be an added advantage.
  • Candidates must have a dynamic, positive and energetic leadership style, hold excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Pleasant and outgoing personality with exceptional grooming.
  • Ability to travel extensively based on business requirements.
  • Based in Europe, preferably DACH.
  • Strong focus on existing business and capability to develop new business opportunities.
  • Significant ability to work independently, taking full responsibility of the European market.
  • Excellent team player within the sales team.
