Job Description

  • Oversees the front office department to ensure maximum guest satisfaction, compliance with resort standards, participation in planning, and operational efficiency.
  • Implements Velaa's service standards, sequences, and operational procedures, ensuring alignment with the values of Velaa Private Island.
  • Develops and implements strategies that will deliver products and services, which meet or exceed the needs and expectations of guests and colleagues while maximizing the financial performance.
  • Maintains open and effective communication through a friendly rapport with both guests and team members.
  • Acts as a team player who drives processes, leads and guides team members in accomplishing their tasks, and offers assistance to colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role, at a five-star luxury property.
  • Holds a degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English and Russian; fluency in other languages will be an added advantage.
  • A warm and friendly person who is passionate to greet/meet guests.
  • Able to significantly contribute to customer satisfaction goals through effective interactions.
  • Possesses excellent guest service skills with a focus on meeting guest needs.
  • Candidates must have a dynamic, positive and energetic leadership style, hold excellent communication skills.
  • Maintains a pleasant personality and high standards of grooming and self-presentation.
  • Skilled in training team members and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and Opera software.
