GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Assist in managing the daily operations of the Golf Department,  supporting the team in achieving departmental objectives.

•Lead the Golf colleagues by ensuring proper training and coaching.

•Responsible for maintaining the golf course in line with Troon standards.

•Work with Troon and prepare the annual golf course maintenance budget and agronomy planner.

•Responsible for growing and managing the Agronomy Department.

•Supervise colleagues within the department to ensure that standards and policies of service are maintained.

•Build strong relations with partners and key agents.

•Demonstrate a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards awareness.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

•3 - 5 years working experience in a top 5* luxury Resort will be an advantage, including remote location exposure.

•Relevant turf certified qualifications.

•Strong understanding on all areas of a Golf Course Agronomy Department.

•Excellent command of written & spoken English, fluency in additional language will be an advantage.

•Strong communication skills.

•Excellent organizational and multitasking skills & confident to anticipate and manage processes.

•Ability to lead initiatives, negotiate, multi-tasking and accountability for team actions.
