Are you an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst/Data Analyst who enjoys creating analytical solutions, developing and providing reports and supplying critical data insights to the business? We have an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic Bluecurrent team. In this role you will work closely with the team to develop key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and to implement the Operations Intelligence and Solutions strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with team leaders and stakeholders to identify and refine operational intelligence requirements.
  • Develop, update, and manage daily distribution of reports, dashboards, and other operational tools.
  • Contribute to the design and analysis of solutions to improve operational processes and outcomes.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity in reports and dashboards by maintaining operational metadata repositories and data dictionaries.
  • Support the creation of business requirements, operational priorities, and the ongoing development of documentation and operational artifacts.
  • Help develop training materials and support end-user training initiatives.

Who we are looking for

Your organisational and attention to detail will be exceptional and your communication, relationship building and influencing skills will be excellent with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with all stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Ideally a minimum of 1-2 years in Operational Intelligence, Business Intelligence, Analytics, or a related technical field
  • Data Warehousing: General understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts and environments.
  • Operational Intelligence Tools: Exposure to toolsets such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI and Splunk.
  • SQL Proficiency: Ability to write and execute SQL queries, with experience in Oracle 12c and 19c environments.
  • Python/R (or other programming languages): Beginner to intermediate programming skills
  • Documentation: Demonstrated skills in documenting process flows, business rules, and technical documentation.
  • Data Visualisation and Dashboarding: Ability to apply relevant Data Visualisation techniques where required.
