About the role

Bluecurrent (formerly Vector Metering) is a leading provider of innovative smart metering services and solutions in New Zealand and Australia. As a B2B company, we partner with leading energy retailers and distributors in New Zealand and Australia. 

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Service Analyst to join our new Joint Venture company and the dynamic IT team.  In this role, you will bring your previous experience and knowledge to analyse the current state of IT services and processes to help identify and implement improvement opportunities for customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proficient ITSM tool administration and management, JSM, ServiceNow, Cherwell
  • Conduct periodic assessments and reviews of the entire Service Level Management (SLM) process.
  • Ensure request, incident, problem, and change records are accurate and complete, in terms of resolution and closure.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining IT operational workflows, knowledge documents, reports, portal content, and communications to IT and business customers.
  • Provide pro-active recommendations for process improvement.
  • Ensure the IT Infrastructure daily service review which focuses on incidents, service and change requests.
  • Assist Incident, Problem, Service and Change management functions with analysis of trends and patterns.

Who we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you will have a problem solving and continuous improvement mindset with a strong focus on the customer. Your organisational and attention to detail will be exceptional and your communication, relationship building and influencing skills will be excellent with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with all stakeholders.

You will bring a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field with proven experience of IT Service Management framework, practices, and processes, ideally with 4-5 years’ experience with ITSM tools.  You will also be someone who stays up to date with technology trends and you will have excellent knowledge on IT Infrastructure, systems, Cyber, Networking and End user compute.
