About the role

We are looking for an experienced GM People & Culture, that has an extensive HR generalist knowledge, proven experience in key people projects and someone that can take full ownership of the People & Culture space at HRV.

Reporting into our Group General Manager, you be an active member of the strategic leadership team, offering guidance, support, and providing insights.

Key task of the role will see you take responsibility for:

  • Leading an accomplished P&C team, overseeing recruitment, L&D, ER, performance management, talent development and everything HR generalist in between.
  • P&C Functionally activities, by providing advisory support, coaching & liaising with People Leaders and ensuring we have effective procedures and policies.
  • Development and implementation of our people strategies to support the achievement of organisational strategy, objectives, and ensuring they are in line with our company values and fit for purpose for our people.
  • Providing actionable insights from analysis of data with consideration of internal and external trends.
  • Led the Learning & Development function to continuously improve our training offerings, competency assessments and development for our people.

To succeed in this role, we’re looking for someone with:

  • 8+ experience in Human Resources.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or senior role.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Ability to influence at a senior level and drive the people plan.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with the business.
  • Expectation communication skills (verbal and written), Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to keep calm in any situation and can problem solve.
