About the role
We’re keen to enlist some trailblazing conductors of change to join our mission towards the true convergence of technology, sustainability, and customer focus. We’re looking for highly skilled and motivated software developers so if you’re an experienced senior level Java developer with a background in building high volume platforms on AWS and have ambitions to make a real difference globally with your eye on something challenging, this role is for you.

Vector is a class leading energy group with a strong track record in software systems engineering with an inclusive, outcomes focused engineering culture. We value and follow best practices through all layers of the application stack. We use customer centred agile methodologies, TDD/BDD and the full automation of application deployment and infrastructure provisioning to deliver value.

You'll expertly develop world class software while providing technical and career mentorship to our team of software developers in our energy revolution. You’ll collaborate with leading global partners such as Amazon to design and build valuable software systems for a global customer base. You’ll be determined and positive in driving business engagement and prioritisation to help deliver meaningful business value.

Who are we looking for?
You’ll be using your advanced software development skills to inspire, guide and mentor a high performing team of full stack developers. You’re at least a seasoned senior level software developer with full stack experience, Frontend and Cloud (AWS) and an expert in Backend (Java, Spring). Bring with you the ability to build and foster collaborative relationships between software developers and business. Career opportunities are endless in this environment; watt are you waiting for?
