The role:

Based in Onehunga, our passionate and motivated Auckland team have a newly created opportunity for a Master Data Specialist to join our high performing team. In this dynamic and fast paced role, you will showcase your proactive eye for detail, identifying opportunities to enhance our processes and ensure the integrity of our data is maintained. Exceptional communication skills, problem solving and being self-motivated will come naturally to you, along with a desire to learn, grow with the business and develop your career.

Reporting to the Supply Chain and Manufacturing Manager, this is a national role, and you will be accountable for all collecting, collating, and validating data, and ensuring product master data and processes are well maintained and. As this is a newly created position, we are looking for someone who can swiftly take ownership of this role to ensure things get done quickly and efficiently, whilst maintaining a safe work environment.

Prior experience within FMCG, retail or household / building products sector is an advantage, but not essential.

To succeed in this role, we’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to analyse large data sets, identify insights and communicate them effectively
  • Ability to identify areas for data quality improvements to resolve data quality issues
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (proficient in v-lookups, pivot tables etc.) and numerical skills
  • Strong computer skills (experience using Microsoft Dynamics CRM and NAV (preferred, but not essential)
  • A customer-centric attitude and a collaborative approach to resolving and implementing initiatives
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Commitment to health and safety
