About the role:

Aircon Direct have been in the industry for over 10 years and our team have been involved with a wide range of large and small domestic and commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with commercial experience to join our Auckland team.

We pride ourselves on our strong technical expertise and superior quality of our workmanship and have acquired an excellent reputation within the industry. We supply and install for Mitsubishi and Panasonic, though we work with and install most other reputable brands.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, warranty breakdowns, service and maintenance of all Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) equipment installed by the Company.

In this role, we are looking for someone with proven experience working in project-based environments and who understands the critical importance of meeting deadlines. Our professional and motivated team will not hesitate to ‘go the extra mile’, so we need someone who shares that same mindset. 

To succeed in this role, we’re looking for someone with:

• At least 3 years experience in working within the commercial HVAC industry installing commercial and residential HVAC equipment in compliance with industry standards
• A current registration with EWRB as an Electrician or EST (Electrician Service Technician) is preferred
• Experience reading install plans, schedule of works and other specification documents
• A current and clean full NZ driver’s license
• Good communication skills and a friendly and professional manner
• A safety-first mindset
