As Vector PowerSmart continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team.

About the Role
The Electrician services and maintains existing battery systems and solar arrays as per contractual requirements throughout NZ and in the Pacific. You will frequently be working on your own, so will be a self-starter and enjoy managing your own workload to meet expectations.

You will also be required from time to time to work on our commercial projects, whether by assisting with installation or commissioning solar and battery systems.

Skills and experience required:

  • NZ Registered and Practicing Electrical license
  • Experience in solar and battery systems
  • A commitment to Health and Safety
  • Shows initiative, has attention to detail and follows through.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Able to multi-task, be organized and have good time management skills.
  • Resourceful, positive, proactive attitude, and able to engage with people.
  • Current clean Drivers License.
  • Read and understand construction drawings/plans.

This role requires frequent travel, please do not apply if you are not prepared to be away on projects for periods of time.
