Who we are
Vector’s Ongas supplies both piped and bottled LPG to customers throughout New Zealand, with depots from Whangarei all the way down to Invercargill. OnGas retails natural gas to large commercial & industrial users throughout the North Island.

About the role
We have a short fixed-term role based at our Bottle Swap plant in Papakura. This role's key priority is the safe and efficient operation of the LPG Bottling plant. Duties include operating various pieces of equipment in various areas of the plant on a rotational basis, including: Inwards goods processing, washing machine, filling station, painting, abrasive ceramic blasting, degassing, test station, forklift operator and outward goods processing.

Full training will be provided for each area that you are required to work in.

Who are we looking for

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Safe work practices and hazard awareness
  • A Forklift licence and/or experience would be an advantage
  • Proven ability to self-manage your workload, problem solve and make sound decisions
  • An understanding and commitment to Health and Safety
  • A good level of fitness as lots of heavy lifting is involved.
  • Satisfactory background screening checks which include a criminal and medical check
  • Hold a current and valid work visa for New Zealand.
