The HVAC Installer Assistant role is responsible for assisting with the installation, service and maintenance of all Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning equipment installed by the Company.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure installation of HVAC equipment is done in compliance with company & manufacturers specifications, ensuring a high standard of installation at all times.
  • Assist the Team Leader in completing necessary paperwork, ensuring it is returned to the office.
  • Perform any apposite remedial work as required.
  • Assist the Team Leader in ensuring accurate stock levels are preserved.
  • Assist sales and operations teams with pre and post installation information.
  • Maintain a friendly warm manner when around clients, and/or representing the Employer. 
  • Promote other products and services if the opportunity allows.
  • Ensure vehicle is warranted, and with a current registration, tidy and presentable (if applicable).
  • Communicate with your Team Leader/Installation Coordinator and the Office should any problems arise in the course of their business.
  • As a member of our installation teams, high standards of conduct and performance are expected.
  • Ensuring that you are aware of and follow company and industry Health and Safety procedures to ensure compliance with the Health and Safety in Employment Act and relevant regulations.

Skills, Experience and Education

  • Previous experience in working within the HVAC fields, or the trades industry preferred.
  • Future successful completion of Company HRV bronze Training required.
  • Good oral and written presentation skills.
  • Special job requirements.
  • There may be times when work has to be performed outside normal business hours.
  • A full current drivers licence may be required for this role.
