Vcheck Global is looking for an experienced, innovative Chief Technology Officer who will play an essential role among Vcheck leadership by overseeing the development of new technical platforms, providing insight on information security and data infrastructure, and managing a team of technical consultants, software developers, and data scientists.

Our Chief Technology Officer will be responsible for the following:

• Technical vision: work with company executives in accordance with company’s business objectives to set goals, discuss options, and analyze risks to incorporate technology in overall company vision

• Strategic planning: develop the company’s strategy for use of technological resources through the use of roadmaps, difficult tradeoffs, decision frameworks

• Information Security: monitor network and information processing systems to maintain security and implement disaster and emergency recovery plans

• Artificial Intelligence and Automation: use a hands-on approach in the development of AI-enhanced products and automated solutions

• Project Management: spearhead IT projects by creating and maintaining project schedules and budgets in consideration of project scope

• Team Management: lead a team of data scientists, software developers, and technical consultants, both full-time and contracted, to manage workflow, mentor team members,  and represent department needs

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role is in possession of the following skills and characteristics:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and/or information technology with increasing responsibility

• 5+ years in managerial roles, with experience managing teams of software developers and IT technicians

• Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; Master’s degree in information technology or a technology-related discipline preferred
