Within Business Area Markets, business decisions are made around the clock and at high frequency, creating vast opportunities for intelligent automation and data-driven innovation.
As our new Machine Learning Engineer in the Data Science team in either Hamburg or Stockholm, you’ll join a collaborative and skilled group that turns real business cases into value through data and ML-based intelligence. Working in a Scrum setup, the team has successfully developed forecasting models for electricity prices and electricity consumption. In our team your work will have a direct and measurable impact.
What You Will Do
- Build and manage MLOps pipelines using Azure ML, MLflow, and modern CI/CD tools
- Enhance ML architecture for seamless deployment, retraining, and monitoring
- Develop and operate real-time inference services
- Ensure feature parity between offline training and real-time inference
- Implement monitoring and observability for model performance, drift, and latency, e.g. with Prometheus, Grafana
- Support automation of trading and asset optimization through robust forecasting models and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Proven experience productionizing ML models, with strong Python skills
- Solid understanding of MLOps frameworks such as MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Azure ML
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines for ML systems
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
- Experience with time-series modeling or forecasting is a plus
- Strong understanding of model lifecycle challenges like drift, retraining, reproducibility
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English. A good command of German or Swedish will be beneficial.
