About Vattenfall E-Mobility

Vattenfall is one of the largest producers of electricity and heat in Europe, with its headquarters in Stockholm. Electromobility is an integral part of Vattenfall’s long-term strategy. Our international E-Mobility team works closely with colleagues in Sweden, Germany, and the Netherlands to deliver tailored charging solutions for electric vehicles. We develop and market products and services related to charging infrastructure for both private and business customers.

As Site Experience Design Manager, you will shape and implement design guidelines that elevate the customer journey across both physical and digital touchpoints at our sites. Your work ensures every site delivers a seamless and engaging experience, maximizes visibility, reflects our brand identity, and supports business goals around satisfaction and usage.

You will work closely with local market teams and cross-functional stakeholders to bring our design vision to life and drive site growth.

What you’ll do

Design Leadership

  • Own, maintain, and evolve on-site design guidelines and UX principles across all touchpoints.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, and sustainability standards.

  • Safeguard brand consistency in visual identity and user experience across markets.

Innovation & UX

  • Introduce forward-thinking design concepts and emerging technologies to improve site usability and engagement.
  • Conduct usability testing, analyze feedback, and continuously refine designs.

Project Management

  • Lead the implementation of design guidelines for new sites and upgrades, including hardware, screens, and signage.
  • Coordinate with local and international teams (Business Delivery, Delivery, Digital Solutions & Hardware) to ensure smooth execution.

On-Site Experience Optimization

  • Deliver design solutions that enhance the “Arrive” phase of the customer journey, selecting the right design package based on commercial opportunities.
  • Identify pain points and propose improvements in close collaboration with local teams.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, architecture, user experience, or a related field (Master’s a plus).

  • Proven experience in design management, ideally within retail, mobility, or customer experience environments.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating site or spatial design and UX excellence.

  • Project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives across multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international setting.

  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
