The Senior Financial Controller - Charge Outwe're looking for will be there to simplify as well as to secure fiscal compliancy, transparency and ease of execution of the Vattenfall intercompany flows by automation, centralization and standardization / harmonization.
As a Senior Financial Controller - Charge Out you're a member of the CoE Charge Out and Transfer Pricing team within Subledger department mapped under Vattenfall Finance Business Services (FBS) Organization.
What will you do?
As a Senior Financial Controller - Charge Out is responsible for running and developing the central / business specific calculations of Vattenfall internal charges in scope. She/he is responsible that the model, services, allocation keys and other specific metrics are correct and up to date.
Senior Financial Controller - Charge Out acts as a SPOC towards business stakeholders and leads alignment, cooperation and quality assurance of the charges in scope.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Run and provide quality assurance for central and business-specific charge-out calculations on a monthly or frequent basis.
- Monitor the correctness of allocated and automated charge-out postings done by the system.
- Lead internal charges governance and ensure compliance within the agreed scope.
- Act as the responsible leader for system development projects, new onboarding projects, and implement required model changes.
- Represent the CoE to internal Group customers (Business Areas - BA) for services rendered by Staff Functions (SF), such as BA Wind receiving SF Procurement charges.
- Serve as a business partner to stakeholders of internal charges, supporting them with information about the charge-out model and process.
- Collaborate with both SF & BA Controlling and FBS to ensure process adherence, data transparency, and charge-out model accuracy.
Location
Katowice, Gliwice, Stockholm or Berlin.
Qualifications
Who are you?
As a Senior Financial Controller we expect you to have a minimum of 8 years experience working with financial processes in an international environment and that you will have a university degree in Finance or a related field. And to succeed you should have:
- Strong leadership experience from a recent role in Finance, including project and change management.
- Good understanding of global financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in intercompany charge-out models, governance structures, and accounting rules.
- Expert skills in relevant financial systems (S4Hana ERP is a plus) and Office 365.
- Experience with complex system landscapes and various data sources.
- Fluent in business English.
