Job Description

We are looking for a System manager with technical coordination responsibilities to manage a set of strategically important solutions.

As a System Manager, you will play a critical role in coordinating and maintaining multiple SLAs and solutions in the areas of Contract & Billing across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. The scope includes several systems, such as EG Excellent, Tungsten and with additional solutions set to be implemented. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating solution design work to ensure that systems align with business objectives and technological advancements. You will balance strategic planning, technical expertise, and collaborative leadership to optimize the performance, security, and scalability of these solutions.

As a System Manager you are having end to end responsibility for the solution which includes:   

  • Making a roadmap for what is needed to maintain the system (including Lifecycle management, upgrades etc.)  
  • Following ITIL process within the SLA  
  • Guarantee system security - ISMS1042, vulnerability management etc.
  • Manage and prioritize incoming incidents, ensuring timely resolution and coordination of technical teams
  • Serve as the Vattenfall ITs Point of contact for end-users to deescalate user issues in order to ensure that the support teams provide adequate and timely response
  • Work closely with other Vattenfall IT units/teams and coordinate any changes on the solution; such as upgrades, development of integrations etc.
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities such as updates etc. with minimal impact on the operations. 
  • Enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices which conform Vattenfall IT standards
  • Continuously assess and improve the architecture to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:

  • Technical knowledge and general IT knowledge in billing solutions such as SAP
  • Database Management: Experience with SQL 
  • Experience with Monitoring and Logging Tools
  • Ideally you have worked in an asset intensive industry – and understand security considerations
  • Understanding of Security first design and development
  • Proven experience is simplification of complex challenges to both Management teams and sister organisations.
  • Good communication skill both written and verbal
  • Self-managing with no intervention and a strong personality
