Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on, and skilled Electronics Technician to join our Test Field Department, supporting production testing operations and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our test systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with advanced electronic test equipment, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

  • Supporting test production activities using advanced testing machines and equipment.
  • Investigating failures related to test systems, test programs, fixtures, and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).
  • Performing preventive maintenance on test fixtures and test systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Providing technical analysis support for repair technicians, including test program debugging, PCBA and fixture schematic analysis, Test specification review & Test coverage analysis.
  • Setting up and executing customized standalone tests as required.
  • Managing spare parts inventory and ensuring the availability of critical components.
  • Participating in shift-based production support activities as required.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent qualification) in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Strong practical knowledge of electronic circuits, electronic systems, fault finding, and circuit analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in soldering, rework, troubleshooting, and repair of PCBAs.
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment like Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters & Power Supplies.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to work on a shift basis to support production operations.
  • Previous experience in electronics manufacturing, testing, or repair environments.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, email, and internet-based tools.
  • Preferred age range: 20-35 years.
