Job Description

Vantiva has a great opportunity and is accepting resumes for a Controller.  The position is full-time, exempt, offers health insurance, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, eligible for bonus program, and flexible hybrid telecommuting option

Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environment highly preferred · Excellent professional level written and verbal communication skills - ability to interface and communicate effectively with multiple functional groups, geographic regions, different levels of internal and external client organizations

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and smartphones.

Qualifications

  • Required Experience · 5+ years’ experience in a senior or lead accountant/controller role · High degree of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), web-based, and Windows based software · Proficent with accounting software required (Oracle/PRMS/SAP Business Warehouse a plus)
  • Responsible for managing and analyzing site P&L and balance sheet
  • Support and be business partner to operations in growth, tracking and reporting of new supply chain activities
  • Oversee site month end close process, including reporting, analysis and explanations of actual results versus budget, forecasts & prior years
  • Build and maintain effective business partnerships within the organization
  • Collaborate with functional department heads (i.e. Pricing and Contracts / Sourcing) to ensure customer contract terms are followed.
  • Work with operations and site management to assist in generating monthly and quarterly forecasts as well as annual operating budgets
  • Support external audit requests as well as the annual Internal Controls audit process
  • Conducts various ad hoc reporting and analysis
