Job Description

 

The sales leader will have experience in selling end-to-end IoT solutions (hardware and software) in the TBD vertical markets (e.g. Self-storage, Retail, QSR, Multi-family, etc). This leader will work directly with IoT and enterprise end customers, system integrators and solutions providers in selling Vantiva’ s end-to-end IoT solution offering.

This Senior level role is reporting to Vantiva’ s SVP of the IoT Division. He/She will be relied upon to bring in and close deals and eventually build a sale Business division team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage with, and close new opportunities with enterprise customers in different commercial verticals utilizing IoT hubs, gateway products, software solutions and services.
  • Help identify and define sales GTM (go-to-market) strategy including channel partners.
  • Define business models, software RMR, and hardware revenue models for driving revenues from vertical IoT enterprise customers and channel partners.
  • Manage and drive sales with IoT system integrators, solution providers & deployment partners.
  • Secondarily, get design-wins with developers of IoT devices and solutions in TBD commercial IoT verticals for Vantiva’s hardware CPE products.

Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years building relationships and selling technology products and services to and for use by enterprise users in the IoT market.
  • Ability to develop a world-class sales team with experience in selling IoT hardware and solutions to the vertical markets.
  • Experience with IoT solutions including hardware sales (gateways, hubs, modules) and software solutions (enterprise and SaaS/RMR) sales.
  • Direct product sales to enterprise customers, channel building, relationships with system integrators and solution providers.
  • Strategic Thinker with a Hunter Mentality and strong prospecting skills.
  • Ability to work with incomplete information and bridge the gap between customer requirements and solution offering at hand to close deals.
  • Successful and quantifiable “new business” sales track record; experienced in working to and exceeding targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree: Masters/MBA preferred

Preferred

Prior experience in systems sales of IoT solutions, including IoT devices and cloud services.

Additional Information

Physical Demands: Significant travel to customer and partner sites.
