Vantiva partners with the world’s leading Service Providers to help them embrace the complex technology evolutions needed to deliver seamless connectivity and premium entertainment experiences to their customers.

§  Acts as System Architect and technical development lead during the development and initial design phases for Residential Gateway telecom projects.

§  Interfaces with product management, customers and 3rd parties to clarify the detailed requirements, the software architectural solutions and the applicable product use cases.

§  Is responsible for detailed requirements management. Translates high level requirements into detailed technical requirements.

§  Works with the Software team to define detailed engineering requirements and system-level design, as well as providing architectural expertise and guidance during the SW development phase.

§  Reviews and contributes to design documents for new features and drives sign-off.

§  Creates use case descriptions and software architectural diagrams.

§  Engages with customers on explaining the technical details of our products and proposes solutions for customer specific requirements.

§  Proposes new, creative solutions for system-wide problems related to 4G and 5G technologies.

§  Performs theoretical analysis, contributes to proof-of-concepts and studies the 3GPP standards to define the new features.

§  Maintains an up-to-date awareness of activities in key standards bodies such as 3GPP.

Contributes to RFP and pre-sales activities for 4G/5G related requirements.

§  Broad knowledge of software and system engineering concepts

§  Experience with requirements management (definition and analysis)

§  A strong track record of experience with 3GPP standards-based systems, including the UE

§  Deep understanding of 4G and 5G protocols, as well as 3GPP standards

§  Strong theoretical background in wireless communications (4G/5G/WiFi)

§  Knowledge of end-to-end telecom mobile/access networks and used protocols

§  Experience working with Mobile SoC & WiFi chipset vendors (Qualcomm, Broadcom, …)
