Job Description

Your role as Area Sales Manager;
For this individual contributor role, OssDsign is looking for a hunter type of sales person. You will report directly to the Senior Vice President International Sales & Global Marketing, based in France. This is a remote working position but as the working area is North Rhine Westphalia in Germany we would like this person to be based in this area.
As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for representing OssDsign to our customers and exceed sales and revenue targets in your territory.

As potential candidate, a background in Medical Devices is preferred, with this, hospital selling experience will come in handy. More specific experience in the cranial, neurosurgery, orthopedic and/ or spine medical field would be amazing, but this is not mandatory. More important we are looking for the candidate with the right attitude, hunter mentality, driven for success and eager to learn. On daily basis you will be working on, among other things, ensuring consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues in your territory through strategic planning (product promotion, placement, tendering, pricing) and working with existing relationships as well as developing new customer relationships.

What you will do: 
•    Develop and implement sales plans to enable targets to be achieved;
•    Develop new accounts across territory by implementing sales methodology including but not limited to: 
o    Carry out presentations to surgeons and/or Operating Room staff;
o    Plan appointments to achieve maximum impact each working day;
o    Develop, nurture and document leads among potential users;
•    Maintenance and support of current business across territory, including attendance of surgical procedures to advise on correct usage of OssDsign products;
•    Training and support of hospital staff who influence product usage (surgeon, nurse, management, purchasing etc.);
•    Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the territory;
•    Uncover opportunities which enhance product performance and revenue growth;
•    Follow up marketing actions, including digital leads generation initiatives and feedback on market campaigns and messaging;
•    Maintaining industry awareness regarding market trends, competition, product acceptance and new product releases;
•    Consistently document and update company CRM system with territory related data on leads, customers, and business opportunities;
•    Provide regular reports on progress and key issues to hierarchy and colleagues in a timely manner and within agreed framework;
•    Provide support at key events in Germany and internationally occasionally;
•    Represent the company in the best light to all third-party contacts and associates.

Qualifications

What you need to bring:
•    Between 3-6 years Sales experience;
•    Hunter Sales experience and mentality;
•    Preferably experience in a medical Device organisation;
•    Preferred experience in a hospital environment
•    Preferred understanding of the human body;
•    Ability to travel extensively within the region;
•    Fluent in German and English;
•    Service-oriented mentality and a strong focus on customer needs;
•    Ability and the drive to achieve and stretch targets;
•    Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills;
•    Capable of working independently and managing a variety of initiatives/issues simultaneously, within a fast-paced environment;
•    An enthusiastic, dynamic, positive, hands-on and energetic individual.
