I am working for Value Labs LLP, which is one of the major IT MNCs in India. I am working for partner company Inter-Ikea systems as a system administrator .

Job Description

· Create user accounts using Active Directory [ADFS]; with email address or without email address. If it’s without email address, then directly create account from AD as per the domain and container user belongs to and fill in all the attributes and grant the user the access to the required member groups on AD . If it’s with email address, then first create an email object on Microsoft On premise and once it is synched. To AD [ADFS] then fill in all attributes and grant the user access to the required member groups on AD. Set the primary SMTP and SIP addresses on AD Account. After the user account is synched. On to Office 365 environment, then grant the user O365 license. Also accounts unlock/password resets.

· Grant the users’ access to Home Shares and Common folders and project shares, Distribution Lists and Shared Mail Boxes.

· Grant the users’ access to various Tools and applications.

· Create Common Folders and Project Folders and grant the users access to them using customized shared utility.

· Create Distribution Groups on Microsoft on Premise and once it is synched. With AD [ADFS] and Office 365 environment, fill in the attributes and grant the users required access to the Distribution Group.

· Create a Shared Mail Box from Microsoft on Premise and once it is synched. With AD [ADFS], Migrate it on to Office 365 environment and set the primary SMTP and grant the users’ required access.

· Login to the concerned server and disable the service and grant the users’ required Door and printer accesses.

· Deploy the Softwares and patches and security updates through customized Shared Utility.

Network Operations Center – Alerts Monitoring :

· Did monitor various alerts pertaining to various servers and various Networking devices like Switches, Domain Controllers, Ports and other networking devices.

· If we receive any disk or CPU alert regarding any server , then login to the concerned server and check for the processes which are running high and determine if they are necessary and take necessary actions accordingly.

· If we receive any alert on Networking devices then work in co-ordination with the Network Team.

· Work on P1 & P2 Incidents and determine the root cause of the Alert and if any hardware issues found or if found that the server is not working, then with the help of Local IT of the concerned location/site, change to back up server and then take the necessary actions after detailed analysis of the problem.

· Schedule and complete the weekend/periodic maintenance of the servers and send the required updates.

· Did train the fellow team mates on the process and did create few process documents.

Working at Onsite with the Clients:

· Did travel to Amsterdam-Netherlands and Athens-Greece to the client’s locations and worked there for a brief period of 3 months.

· Apart from supporting the clients with the regular activities as mentioned above, did migrate a service from clients to our company and created the required process manuals and documents and knowledge articles.
