Will you be our next addition? We are looking for a R&D Technologist to work within our Snacks business, read on to find out more.

This role is for a ‘foodie’ with a passion for creative innovation and you will be responsible for the development of new products in Snacks (branded and ROB) from concept to process handover. You will be an expert in managing people, systems and processes effectively and have strong project management skills.

Based at our Norwich or Gateshead site, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, from suppliers to brand teams, to ensure that every snack sensation meets our stringent quality standards, safety regulations and hits the bullseye on cost targets. Plus, you will be the guardian of the critical path, ensuring creations are delivered on time, every time.

You'll be a key player in supporting our NPD team, lending your expertise to the process and packaging departments. You'll be a dab hand with GoProof, checking off the product artwork, ensuring every detail is pixel-perfect.

• Degree (or equivalent) in Food Science or similar
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a food production environment
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office 
• Full driving licence and willing to travel with the UK
