VWH is seeking to hire a hands-on Business Intelligence Analyst to work with data analytics team. In addition, this role will work closely with our key stakeholders and be responsible for building various reports utilizing state-of-the-art data visualization tools. The candidate will be involved in key aspects of developing the next-gen, in-house whole loan management system that will help take the firm to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Create data visualization reporting that will facilitate our asset/portfolio management teams to identify trends and exceptions
• Analyze existing reporting pipelines and ETLs, and designs process improvement solutions using Python and SQL
• Maintain and automate monthly processes such as portfolio report, post-acquisition report, and remittance report
• Maintain existing data pipeline and develop SQL stored procedures/views as required
• Analyze and summarize local housing and demographic trends and closely monitor housing related regulations and jurisdiction development
• Design and generate various reports, such as investment portfolio analysis and fund performance analysis, that assist asset management and portfolio management

• MS or bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related fields of study
• Experience in relational database such as SQL Server or MySQL
• Experience working with data visualization tools such as QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau
• Knowledge of Python and Python IDEs (Jupyter Notebook, VS Studio, PyCharm) is preferred
• Proficiency in Excel. Knowledge of VBA is a plus
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud products (RDS, Glue, Athena, DMS, lambda, S3) is a plus
• Experience with the Agile method of software development is a plus
• Experience with low-code application development is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high quality work in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work in Uptown Dallas office
• US work authorization is required.  The firm will sponsor H1B visa for full-time employees.
