Job Description

Specific role requires development and operational support experience with Kinetic Request Core Edition (CE), Web Development, Ruby, and Java.

Candidate will provide technical knowledge and analysis of:

  • Highly specialized applications and operational environment.
  • High-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation.
  • Provide advice on exceptionally complex problems that necessitate a high-level knowledge of the Automation & Orchestration products for effective implementation. 
  • Participates as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, modeling, simulation, testing, integration, documentation and presentation phases.
  • Manage Kinetic Data Request Software updates and migrations.
  • Kinetic Data Request Skills for building new forms
  • Build complex forms for internal and external customers using Kinetic Data Request.
  • Contribute to bundle modifications.
  • Build complex trees, routines and handlers.
  • Write APIs for interacting with other pieces of software in the enterprise.
  • Manage global routines used by many other processes.
  • Gather requirements from IT staff and end users for new forms and form modifications.
  • Software upgrades and migrations.
  • Process documentation.
  • Manage daily operations and troubleshoot problems as they arise.

This position will be performed in a primarily core business hours support model, currently defined as 0800-1700CT, Monday thru Friday. On occasion, it will be necessary for this role to operate in an ‘on-call’ manner to effectively manage the business of the organization which is delivered in a 24X7X365 manner.

Qualifications

  • Follow the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service operation best practices. It is important for the employees to demonstrate experience based on ITIL framework:
    • ITIL v3 foundation certification is desired.

Technical Skills:

  • Expert Web Design/Interface skills.
  • Advanced experience with React and supporting software (node.js and yarn).
  • Expert javascript/jQuery skills (v7 or later).
  • Expert in Ruby (2.2.x or later).
  • Expert Apache Tomcat Skills.
  • Senior Level Kinetic Data Request Skills.
  • Senior Level Kinetic Data Task Skills.
  • Senior Level Linux Administrator.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting Skills.
  • Ability to interact with and gather technical requirements from customers.
  • Experience with Mediawiki.
