Job Description


Summary: SAP Developer with work-flow and Forms development experience to work on a development team consisting currently of 4 developers.



Project Description: Primarily a support and maintenance role to develop solutions for Perform Break-fix and enhancement requests in SAP. There is also project team to upgrade SAP to EHP8. Other projects include Budgeting, Fuel system and HCM cloud applications.



Responsibilities:


The Application Developer will provide support to existing production applications and perform complex technical analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, deployment and implementation of new applications using existing and emerging platforms. This category includes SAP development.


• This is a professional level non-supervisory position which may require coordination of programming activities being conducted by the team


• Supports team in modification of enhancements and changes to applications.


• Leverages excellent written and verbal communication skills. May coordinate activities of other application developers


• Supports business process, problem analysis and consultation.


• Processes open defect/maintenance tickets and correct technical errors.


• Reviews and understands the Application Team’s work plan.


• Provides status of work to Team Lead.


• Anticipates, identifies, tracks, and resolves issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Application Team.


• Develops Unit Test plans for development efforts.


• Engages in ongoing process improvement.


• Detailed functional and process knowledge.


• Utilizes Requirements, design and coding, and unit testing skills.


• Provides expertise in one or more SAP Areas.



Required Skills:


4 year college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced study


SRM7 development Web-Dynpro


Workflow experience in SAP SRM 7.0


Forms development experience


SAP Enhancement Framework including BADIs and enhancement points


List reports development


ALV Reports experience


Batch Processing


Object-Oriented programming


SAP HCM, Finance, Logistics modules experience


Strong problem solving, trouble shooting, and analytical skills


Interpersonal skills, ability to work in a dynamic team environment


Adheres to schedules and project timelines and communicates issues/problems that may impact objectives


Experience with ServiceNow, MS-Dynamics, Integration tools such as SAP PI, Dell Boomi and Mulesoft
